Overall Review
Though the Ambush is a little more sluggish than one would hope for out of their canoe, the well designed diamond-shaped keel provides excellent tracking; even in the roughest water conditions. Fisherman will love the sliding seat and backrest that is fully reversible. Once you get used to fishing in the Old Town Ambush canoe, you are sure to utilize the all sides and angles that a smaller fishing boat allows you to use freely.
I would rate my review of the Old Town Ambush as 4 out of 5 stars. This canoe is perfect for what it was designed to do; carry large amounts cargo or gear and be used as a versatile fishing canoe.
