Though difficult to find in stores, the Gator has many handy features for comfortable fishing. But Jon boat connoisseurs tsk-tsk the plastic hull in favor of heavier, but more durable, aluminum. If you want a comfortable, temporary Jon boat, the Gator may be appropriate. But if you want something that will outlive you, go with an aluminum watercraft.
