California is arguably one of the most beautiful states in the U.S., although it is more well known for its southern states rather than its northern. These are a few of the places that I suggest you visit if your staying in southern areas of this state.

Redondo Beach

This beach is one of the best places to kayak if you want to enjoy marine life. Sea lions live around this, as well as pelicans and other species of birds. If you go out to the South Redondo surf line, you can find dolphins there where are spotted nearly everyday.

Huntington Harbor

This is another place in Los Angeles, and the harbor is a great place to go kayaking if you like calm waters. If you bring along a basket, you could even stop along one of the beaches nearby and have a picnic with your family.

Alamitos Bay

This one has oceanfront homes right along shoreline, making this a great place for a kayaker to go if they want to go if they want a summer vacation home. Probably the best part about this bay is that if you want, you can hop out of your kayak and go into one of the great restaurants along the coastline.
