The Old Town Penobscot family of canoes is named for the Native American Penobscot tribe and owes their design to that heritage.
The 16 RX is the lightest and smallest of the bunch. Meant for tandem or solo paddling, it has black anodized aluminum gunwales, polyethylene decks with grab handles, wood webbed seats, and an unstained ash thwart and yoke.
Tori “Waverider” Morris first learned to love canoes when she was just a small child. She built her first handmade canoe at the age of 11 and continues to this day as a professional. Among some of the most interesting places she’s canoed are Brazil and Vietnam. Tori lives in Corpus Christi, Texas.
