With a length equal to that of expedition canoes, the Touring is marketed for camping trips and tandem rides on the lake. Made from Pelican’s exclusive RAM-X material, it has three molded bench seats, vertical rod holders, a bottle holder, aluminum gunnels with a protective sleeve, and carrying handles at the bow and stern.
Not built to be knocked around, the seats have a tendency to crack where they are attached. This canoe is best suited to gentle treatment on gentle waters, and keeps a relatively shallow draft even loaded down. An inexpensive option for leisurely canoeing, accessories such as seat backs are recommended.
