A cost-effective option for kayakers and canoers alike, the Seattle Sports Mighty Mite 2.0 boat cart is a small, but strong way to get your boat into the water.
The second generation of the Mighty Mite, Seattle Sports has added green anodized aluminum to this model. With this added support, the cart is capable of carrying nearly any kayak from your vehicle to the water.
Short portages are no problem, especially with the galvanized bearings on the inflated rubber wheels. This provides the traction necessary to tackle beach and small rocks, provided either are moderate. However, since the tires are filled with air, it is important to remember that this cart is primarily designed for pavement or maintained paths.
One of the best supportive features of this particular Seattle Sports boat cart is the kickstand, which is pretty durable and does a good job of supporting the added weight of the boat.
Finally, the nylon tie-down strap is fitted with a cam buckle. This allows a user to secure the boat to the cart’s forward bar.
Be sure to use this boat cart properly. It is not designed for long portages, especially those over rugged terrain.
