The Shimano Sedona FD Spinning Reel offers more for your money than most reels of the same price range. They are designed for quick and comfortable casting and retrieval, much more so than most other similar models.
In order to facilitate the reel’s power and reach, it uses a Propulsion Line Management System. This enables the spinning reel to be used further than traditional models and gets less tangles. In addition, it uses two systems to reduce twist and effectively eliminate wobble during the retrieval process: Dyna-Balance and Power Roller III technology.
Improved efficiency is also guaranteed using the Fluidrive II system, which increases tooth contact in the reel. This is balanced with the Super Stopper II program, which helps deliver powerful hook sets and eliminates backplay.
Finally, the Shimano Sedona FD Spinning Reel features a lightweight graphite frame, sideplate and rotor, helping to lower the weight of the overall piece and allow anglers to fish nearly all day with limited stress.
