The Werner Camano kayak paddle is made from a blend of fiberglass and carbon to make it durable and light while maintaining rigidity. This hand crafted two-piece kayak paddle features asymmetrical paddle blades, improved ferrule design to make it perform like a one-piece paddle, and has adjustable feathering options to suit any type of paddling style. While the Camano was designed for low-angle touring paddlers, you are sure to enjoy this paddle in any type of paddling conditions.
I give the Werner Camano kayak paddle a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The Camano is one of the finest touring kayak paddles available today. Every detail of the Camano is crafted with performance in mind, and lives up to the hype in every category I tested it in. One of the stand-out points for the Werner Camano paddle is its incredibly low swing-weight. Even through the choppiest water, the Camano glides effortlessly. Also, the two-piece design actually feels like a one-piece, meaning that the rigidity of the Werner Camano is superior to most two-piece kayak paddles on the market today.
While the Werner Camano kayak paddle is more expensive than many other aluminum or fiberglass kayak paddles, reduced fatigue and faster acceleration will immediately be noticed. If you have the opportunity, I recommend trying out one of these paddles for an hour or two. Once you have, I’m sure you’ll see where the extra money is going.
